I have been using the 1mm Thin Acrylic version for about 6 years, and I absolutely love it. It protects my teeth from my nightime grinding, but it's perfectly comfortable and I can talk normally. I have one for home, and one in my travel kit. I also have a couple of spares, because they do eventually wear out. I pay to have my mold stored, and at the 5-year mark I ordered a few more without having to re-do the mold, which was great. Tip: If you clean it with a toothbrush when you remove it, then the guard will last longer.
